Synthetic polymers are used in programmes developed by Park Chemicals to significantly enhance the flocculation of
colloidal material and suspended solids, improving the settling rates or flotation rates in the separation
equipment.
Most sludge thickening operations depend on the correct application of flocculants to obtain a consistent high dryness
cake with a low solids filtrate.
